Samsung’s Galaxy S-series could finally come with S Pen support

0

One of the features that differentiates the Samsung Galaxy S-series from the Note-series is the inclusion and support for the S Pen, where the Note series has long supported the use of the stylus and comes with a little cutout slot for users to store the stylus when not in use. For years, many have wondered why Samsung has not introduced S Pen support to its S-series.

For those who have been hoping that this would become a thing, you might be pleased to learn that a tweet from leakster Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S21 Ultra, set to arrive in early 2021, could be the first Samsung Galaxy S-series smartphone to actually support the stylus.

But before you get too excited, note that it will most likely not ship with the stylus, which means that you’ll need to buy it separately, but if you own an older Note series or if you don’t mind shelling out for the S Pen, the tweet claims that you should be able to use it with your phone.

We’re not sure if there will be full support, meaning that everything the Note series can do with the S Pen, the S21 Ultra will be able to do as well. Or if we’re talking about just simply stylus-related features. Either way, we should have more details in the coming months, so check back with us then for more updates.
