The Samsung Galaxy Fold series, when folded up, looks like a regular smartphone, but when folded, it becomes almost like a mini tablet. With such a big screen, it actually kind of makes for a perfect note-taking device if you want to jot down ideas, make some doodles, and so on.
In fact, if the rumors are true, it seems that Samsung does indeed want to take advantage of the big display by including an S Pen with the phone. We’re not just talking about S Pen support, but it will actually come with the S Pen included, and presumably a slot to store the stylus in.
This comes from a report from AJUNews who claims that Samsung might be thinking of dropping its Note series in 2021, and that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be taking its place, hence the inclusion of the S Pen. While we can appreciate the potential inclusion of the stylus, we’re not sure if Note fans will be too pleased by this news.
This is because the Galaxy Fold series costs a lot more than a regular flagship smartphone, and being “forced” to upgrade to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 might simply be too pricey for some. Other Galaxy Z Fold 3 rumors include how it could possibly be the first Samsung smartphone to feature the use of an in-display front-facing camera.
Obviously this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but we have been hearing rumors that the Note series could be on its last legs, so maybe bringing the S Pen over to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 might make sense.
