The dimming zones are vastly superior to traditional LCD panels and offer a closer experience to an OLED display. This technology also makes it possible for the iPad Pro to reach 1,000 nits of brightness with 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Plus, it offers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio along with support for the DCI-P3 color gamut.
