Make your smart home smarter: connect your Gosund Smart Plugs to Alexa or Google Assistant

Setting up your Gosund Smart Plug

1. Download and install the Gosund app from the Play Store
2. Plug the Smart Plug into a wall outlet
3. Press and hold the power button on the side for 5 seconds
4. Once the light starts blinking blue, you’re in pairing mode
5. Launch the Gosund app and tap “Add Device”
6. Tap on Add Manually and select “Electrical Outlet”
7. Tap “Confirm indicator rapidly blink”
8. Choose your home WiFi network (make sure that the network you’re connecting to is a 2.4GHz network) and tap OK
9. Wait for the device to complete pairing

Connecting to Alexa

1. Launch the Alexa app
2. Tap the menu button on the left top corner of the app
3. Tap Skills & Games
4. Tap the magnifying glass icon and search for Gosund
5. Select the skill you want and then tap Enable To Use
6. Enter your account username and password and region
7. Speaking to your Echo device, say “Alexa, discover devices” and wait for the Echo to respond by saying, “Discover is completed”
8. You can now use your Echo and Alexa to control your Gosund device

Connecting to Google Assistant

1. Launch the Google Home app
2. Tap the + button at the top left corner of the app
3. Select Set up device > Works with Google
4. Select Gosund from the manufacturer list
5. Follow the app’s instructions to complete the setup
6. You will now be able to use Google Assistant to control your Gosund smart product
