Back in June, Apple released the Beats Studio Buds which kind of took everyone by surprise given the low price tag ($150) and the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation. One of the more enticing features is the built-in Google Fast Pair support, making the pairing process on your favorite Android phone easier than ever. The Beats Studio Buds are even compatible with Google’s Find My Device service, so you can find your earbuds if you happen to misplace them.
Additional features of the Studio Buds include a dedicated Transparency mode, IPX4 water and sweat resistance, along with up to five hours of battery life on a single charge. Battery life can be bumped up to eight hours if you turn off both ANC and Transparency modes.
The biggest downside to these earbuds is that you won’t find any wireless charging capabilities. Instead, you’re limited to USB-C for charging, but that’s not the end of the world.
Although the Galaxy Buds 2 are likely to be announced this week, and we’re expecting to see the Nothing Ear (1) along with OnePlus Buds Pro soon, the Beats Studio Buds are still a compelling choice.
