German flyer “accidentally” reveals Pixel 6 will be priced at €649

In less than two weeks, Google will be officially taking the wraps off of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. There’s much that we already officially know about the devices, along with more details that have been provided through various leaks. This includes leaked photo and video samples from a supposed prototype of the Pixel 6 Pro.

One of the big question marks remaining when it comes to these devices is just how much is Google going to be pricing them at. When the series was officially shown off, Google’s Rick Osterloh stated that the Pixel 6 will “certainly be a premium-priced product.” Obviously, this could mean quite a few different things given the current landscape of the Android smartphone market, but many have seemed to agree that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will range anywhere from $700 to $1000 depending on the configuration.

But it seems that those in Germany don’t have to wait any longer to find how much they need to save, as a promotional flyer from a German retailer has spilled the beans (via mydealz.de). According to the flyer, the base model Pixel 6 will be priced at €649, which matches up with previous leaks and rumors that we’ve seen. Additionally, this same retailer is offering a free pair of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 if the device is pre-ordered between October 19 and October 27. 

So not only do we now have pricing from a retailer, but we also can surmise that the phones will be available for purchase in stores and online starting on October 28. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the Pixel 6 Pro in this flyer, so we’ll have to keep speculating until Google makes it official. Of course, the pricing in this European flyer doesn’t necessarily mean that the Pixel 6 will come in at $750 after performing a quick conversion.

With only two weeks left until Google’s event, we expect the floodgates to really open. So it’s likely that we’ll learn about U.S. pricing for at least one of the devices ahead of time.
