It’s been a busy 24 hours for Evan Blass (@evleaks) as he has already shared some new renders and lifestyle images of the Pixel 6. But the job never seems to end, as Blass is back again with some more renders of a different phone.

Rumors have been building in regards to a new device coming called the OnePlus 9RT. This is expected to fill the void left after the company confirmed it would not be releasing a OnePlus 9T this year. The renders don’t reveal any of the specs for the device, but do show that it will look pretty much identical to the OnePlus 9. We also get our first look at the packaging that will be used, confirming the 9RT moniker.

What we can see from the images shared is that OnePlus is ditching the Hasselblad logo. Instead, the only “branding” we can see is for the 50MP camera which is likely the same lens being used in the OnePlus Nord 2. This lines up with what we’ve seen in previous leaks and rumors, as the 9RT will carry a triple-camera setup.

Based on previous leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 9RT is expected to be an upgraded version of the OnePlus 9R, while offering the following specs:

  • 6.55-inch Display
  • 120Hz Refresh Rate
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 870
  • 8GB RAM / 128GB Storage
  • 50MP Main camera / 16MP secondary camera / 2MP tertiary camera
  • 16MP selfie camera
  • 4,500mAh Battery
  • Warp Charge 65W Charging
  • Android 12

While Blass didn’t share much more than these renders, he did give us a date for the device which is apparently codenamed “Martin”. According to Blass, a date of 10/13 was provided, but we aren’t sure as to whether this means that the 9RT will be announced on this date, or if this is the release date. It would be a bit surprising if this was the release date, since OnePlus usually has a flair for the dramatic and we haven’t heard a peep from the company up to this point.
