These days, it’s not uncommon to find smartphones packing faster charging speeds. Battery tech still isn’t quite where we want it, where phones still die after about a day or two of usage at most. This means that as an alternative, faster charging can help juice phones up in a fraction of the time compared to the chargers of yesteryear.
One of the rumors about the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro is that it could come with support for 80W wired charging. This makes it 15W faster than its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro. Now according to certification spotted by MySmartPrice, it looks like those rumors are true.
The certification is for a handset with the model number NE2210, which is speculated to be the OnePlus 10 Pro. In the certification, it revealed that the handset will come with support for 80W fast charging. There is no mention of the regular OnePlus 10, but apparently some rumors claim that the OnePlus 10 Pro could be a standalone handset.
OnePlus had previously confirmed that the phone would be launching in January, and a recent rumor claims that it could be as soon as next week where it could actually launch on the 4th of January, which apparently is the same time Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S21 FE 5G handset.
