When we think of budget phones, some might scoff at the notion that they might be any good. Over the years, we’ve been proven wrong time and time again and in 2022, Samsung has launched their latest budget handset in the form of the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G, which might look unassuming on the surface, but it packs some pretty cool hardware.
The handset was launched in India and is the successor to the Galaxy F22. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset which means that it comes with support for 5G. The phone also packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display, pretty impressive since most high refresh rate mobile displays tend to be found on flagship phones.
The Galaxy F23 5G also comes with a feature called Voice Focus that is designed to help amplify your voice while making calls, but at the same time is smart enough to help cut down on ambient noise. The phone will be featuring a triple camera setup on the back with a main 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro sensor.
There will also be 128GB of storage onboard that can be expand via microSD up to 1T, and there is even a 3.5mm headphone jack for those who prefer using wired headphones. The Galaxy F23 5G is priced at Rs. 17,499 (Rs. 14,999 for early adopters) for the 4GB RAM/128GB model which is roughly $227 after conversion.
