Earlier this year, Honor announced their latest flagship smartphone in the form of the Honor Magic 4 Pro. The device was unveiled at MWC and if you were keen on getting your hands on the handset, Honor has since announced that the phone will begin its global rollout starting with the UK market.
What’s interesting about the Magic 4 Pro is that its predecessor, the Magic 3, was announced six months before it, which isn’t a lot of time in between flagship launches. As such, it didn’t really come as a surprise when the design between both phones was quite similar to each other, but that’s where the similarities end.
For those who missed the original announcement, the Magic 4 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and features a massive 6.81-inch LTPO display with support for DCI-P3 and HDR10+. It also has a variable refresh rate ranging from as low as 1Hz up to 120Hz via the company’s MotionSync display technology.
The cameras on the phone are supposed to be the star of the show. The phone comes equipped with a triple camera setup on the back which combines a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 122-degree field of view, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom to top things off.
The phone also packs a 4,600mAh battery that supports Honor’s SuperCharge charging technology which allows it to charge up to speeds of 100W that takes it from 0-100% in just 30 minutes.
For those living in the UK, the Honor Magic 4 Pro will be available for pre-order on the 13th of May for £949.99, but those who pre-order will also get a pre-order bundle worth £324 which includes the Honor Watch GS 3 in Ocean Blue, a wireless charging dock, and a phone case.
