Amazon’s Fire Tablets have been quite popular due to their super-affordable prices. Despite coming with generally low-powered hardware specs, the tablets are nevertheless great little devices for general media consumption and casual usage. With that said, Amazon has recently unveiled a new tablet, in the form of the Amazon Fire 7 Tablet (2022).
The 2022 version of the Fire 7 Tablet will come with a choice of either 16 or 32GB of expandable internal storage, and 2GB of RAM. It will also be available in three colors, namely denim, black, and rose. The newer tablet will also come with a slightly different design, with the tablet now designed mainly for landscape orientation usage. It will also be USB-C compatible, which is a great improvement over previous iterations of the device.
In terms of battery performance, Amazon says that the upcoming device will have around 10 hours of battery life, and will include a charger in the box. The current iteration of the Fire 7 Tablet comes with 1GB of RAM, as well as a micro-USB charging port.
The base model of the new Fire 7 Tablet is slightly more expensive however, coming in at £59.99 / $59.99. It’s currently available for pre-order, and will officially be available for sale on June 29, 2022.
