When Nothing first formed, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we had a feeling that smartphones were in the cards. After all, the company was started by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. Nothing eventually confirmed in March that a phone is in the works, but stopped short of sharing additional details.
The good news is that if you were looking forward to learning more about the phone, Nothing has announced the launch date for the handset for the 12th of July. This is when the company will be revealing the phone in full, although whether or not it’ll be available for purchase on that day itself is unclear.
We did previously hear that the Nothing Phone (1) could be released on the 21st of July and that it could cost 500 Euro, which is actually not too bad of a price. The specs are unclear but it is rumored to be a mid-ranger where it could be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which could also explain its relatively affordable price.
If you are looking forward to seeing what Nothing will be bringing to the table, you can actually RSVP to the reveal where it will be streamed live from London, so register your interest nothing to be notified when the event does go live.
