Back in 2021, Oppo launched the Oppo Watch 2, which means that this year the company is expected to follow up with the Oppo Watch 3. According to a recent report from Weibo by Digital Chat Station, some details about the upcoming smartwatch have been revealed.
If the report is accurate, the Oppo Watch 3 is expected to feature a higher screen-to-body ratio. This means that the watch’s display could be bigger but the overall size could be maintained, which is good for those who might be concerned that a larger display might result in a watch that’s too big and might look awkward on the wrist.
The post on Weibo also claims that the watch will feature a “micro-arc square dial design”, which is a bit hard to imagine right now, but seeing as the Oppo Watch has a square body, we expect that it could continue to maintain that design language. It is also rumored to be available in black, silver, dark gray, and light gold.
Not much else is known about the Oppo Watch 3 apart from the rumored design, so we’ll have to wait and see. There was also no mention of when the watch will launch, but the Oppo Watch 2 was announced back in July last year, so maybe the Oppo Watch 3 could also be announced around the same time.
