ZTE Axon 40 Pro will now be available for purchase globally

Earlier this year, ZTE announced their flagship phone, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. If that phone was a bit too expensive for you, then you might be interested to learn that ZTE has since announced the global availability of its other smartphone, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro which will be priced starting at $499 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.

For those unfamiliar, the handset was originally announced for the Chinese market back in May, but it looks like ZTE has decided to make the phone available for international markets as well and customers who are interested will be able to place their orders directly from the ZTE store.

As a quick recap in terms of specs, the ZTE Axon 40 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and will be accompanied with 8-12GB of RAM, along with 128-256GB of storage, depending on which model you choose.

The phone will also sport a quad camera setup on the back consisting of a 100MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, a macro camera, and a depth-of-field camera. Unlike the Ultra model, the Pro will feature a cutout for the 16MP front-facing shooter. The phone will also come with a 5,000mAh battery with 65W charging and will run ZTE’s latest MyOS platform.
