As we mentioned earlier, there is support for Quick-Charge 3.0 at 18W. This means that with a compatible smartphone, you will be able to juice it back up to 80% in just 35 minutes, which is relatively quick. If you need to be somewhere and don’t have a lot of time to spare, getting it back up to 80% in about half an hour seems pretty good.
Speaking of power, the Kovol Sprint also comes with intelligent power allocation. This is a feature of the charger that can continuously monitor the power needs of the devices connected to it, and in turn, it will be able to optimize the current going into each device to help maximize its overall efficiency.
Built-in safety features
Now, some of you might be a bit concerned that with all these features and the ability to charge four devices simultaneously, wouldn’t it get too hot and potentially catch on fire? Like we said earlier, one of the features of GaN chargers is that it doesn’t use the same silicon components as regular chargers.
