The Google Pixel 5 was originally announced back in 2020, which makes the phone 2 years old now, but the good news is that according to Google, the Pixel 5 series are still eligible to receive Android updates, like the recently released Android 13.
Even better news is that right now, Amazon is selling a renewed version of the 128GB model where its price has been slashed by $120, bringing the phone’s price down to an all-time low of $329.
Granted, the phone is a bit “old” by tech standards, but the Pixel 5 is still a very capable Android smartphone, and at $329 for a phone that will get the latest Android updates quickly as well as have access to exclusive Pixel features, it’s a deal that’s a bit hard to resist, especially if you’re on a budget or just want a cheap secondary phone.
Google is promising that the device will get at least 3 years of Android and security updates, which means that come 2023, the Pixel 5 will still be eligible for the Android 14 update.
