Vivo has done a lot to build a name for itself and break out onto the global market, launching several smartphones for different price brackets and usage needs. As such, the company recently announced its newest phone, the Vivo V21s for Taiwanese markets.
In terms of hardware, the V21s comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080×2404 pixel resolution and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s a modestly-sized 4,000 mAh battery, which comes with compatibility for 33W fast-charging. Inside the phone is Android 12, layered with Funtouch OS, Vivo’s proprietary Android skin.
When it comes to cameras, the phone comes with a triple-sensor array on its rear panel, featuring a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, as well as a 2MP macro sensor. There’s also a front-facing camera with a whopping 44MP resolution, making it very ideal for selfies and video calls.
As for pricing, the Vivo V21s will cost around TWD11,490, equivalent to $365/€355, and comes in Dusk Blue and Sunset Dazzle variants. At the moment, there’s still no word on whether it will be available in more international markets.
