Ever since Android 13 was officially released to the public a few months ago, we’re sure that many non-Pixel owners have been wondering when the update is expected to make its way onto their device.
If you happen to own the ASUS Zenfone 9, then we have some good news because ASUS has started to roll out the Android 13 update for the handset. According to the support page, this will bump the version of the phone’s firmware up to 33.0804.2060.65, so if you are already running this version, it means that your phone was already updated.
If you’re running an older build, not to worry as the update will eventually make its way to you. As noted on the support page, ASUS says that the update will be pushed out in batches based on the serial numbers, so for some, it might be pushed to their phones already, while others might have to wait a few more days.
As usual, the update will bring about all the Android 13 goodies that Google had previously announced, along with some custom additions that ASUS will be adding to its own UI, so if you have the ASUS Zenfone 9 and have been looking forward to this update, keep an eye out for that update notification your phone.
