Samsung’s Galaxy A33 5G has been out for a year now, and the company has remained rather consistent in providing updated software patches for its midrange handset. As such, the November 2022 update has finally arrived for European versions of the phone, which features some bug fixes and stability improvements.
The new update comes with software version number A336BXXU4BVKB, and is now available for users in Europe – particularly in Slovenia – which should also roll out to more regions in the coming days. In addition to fixes for security and stability issues for the A33, the new update also brings Samsung’s “Maintenance Mode” feature.
Launched this year, the Samsung Galaxy A33 is among the latest of Samsung’s many A-series handsets alongside the Galaxy A53, which are meant to compete in the mid-range smartphone segment against phones like Google’s Pixel “A” smartphones. It comes with this year’s Exynos 1280 SoC, a 6.4-inch display, a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as a quad-camera set-up on the rear panel.
To check if your phone can download the newest software patch, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your device is eligible for the latest system update.
