OnePlus Officially Launches the Ace 2V with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC

After weeks of renders and rumors, OnePlus has finally launched its newest handset in China, the OnePlus Ace 2V. Meant to compete with other midrange Android handsets, the phone comes with hardware that’s nevertheless impressive.

The phone comes in a rather standard design as to most smartphones these days, although it marks the return of the alert slider, a staple of past OnePlus smartphones. In front is a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 2772×1240 pixel resolution, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and up to 1450 nits peak brightness. Inside the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 4nm processor with a Mali-G710 10-core GPU, and up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Ace 2V features a 64MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

As for pricing and availability, the OnePlus Ace 2V is priced at 2299 yuan which rounds up to $332 for the base model, while the top-end 16GB + 512GB configuration is priced at 2799 yuan or around $404. The phone will go on sale in China on March 13.
