It’s been a long week of leaks – we’ve seen what the upcoming Google Pixel 7a and 8-series phones might look like, and now it seems that another leak has shown up to the scene, albeit from a different brand altogether.
A post from the folks over at Nokiamob refers to a recently-shared photo online. The image – first posted by Twitter user Hikari Calyx – shows a device speculated to be an unreleased Nokia device, codenamed “Venom.” The handset bears the model number TA-1529, and will feature dual-sim functionality, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Another key component spotted was a 64-megapixel sensor, which was made by Shengtai. It’s highly rumored that this leaked handset might be launched within this year.
A month ago, the company launched the Nokia G22 during MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The device is designed to be easily repairable, with sustainability in mind. While it was a relatively newer launch, the phone was strictly designed for users on a budget, featuring modest hardware.
As for the Venom, not much is known besides the aforementioned hardware specs, but we might hear something from Nokia (or more leakers) soon.
