The way Counter-Strike has been designed, it’s not necessarily a game that needs a new release every year like Call of Duty or Modern Warfare. The game was initially announced back in March, but now it looks like it will be available to play. The game will be powered by Source Engine 2, which is used in other Valve games like Dota 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. The use of the engine means that gamers can look forward to a facelift and redesigns of existing maps.
There will also be offline training modes for players who are new to the game and want to get some practice without the pressure of playing against others, but there will also be a Competitive mode for seasoned players and professionals looking to pit their skills against each other.
The good news is that because Counter-Strike 2 is being viewed more as an update to CS:GO, all the items that you have collected in CS:GO will be brought over to Counter-Strike 2, so all your time and effort won’t be wasted.
