Intel recently announced that it was launching its newest wave of desktop processors, the Intel Core 14th Generation. The company says that the processors were designed to give gamers and creators the edge they need, thanks to a powerful set of features.
The latest generation of Intel’s processor lineup includes six processors for different price brackets, with the most premium being the Intel Core i9-14900K, which Intel says is currently the world’s fastest desktop processor. The Core 14th Generation processors come with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, in addition to 6 GHz of frequency.
Intel adds that users can now adjust their overclock settings more seamlessly, thanks to a built-in AI-guided overclocking feature, which the company calls “AI Assist.” The new processors are even compatible with Intel 600 and 700 series chips, allowing more flexibility for setup customization.
For connectivity, the 14th Gen processors come with support for Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and compatibility with Thunderbolt 4 wired connectivity, as well as up to 80 Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth support. The Core 14th Generation processors will be available starting today via selected retail partners.
