With the year drawing to a close, we’re bound to see tons of compilation lists and “best of” awards across different categories including tech, hardware, as well as software. Speaking of the latter, Google Play finally unveiled the Best Apps and Games of 2023, which includes the most downloaded and well-received apps from the Play Store.
For the Best Overall App and Game, the awards went to Imprint: Learn Visually and Honkai: Star Rail respectively. Imprint: Learn Visually makes use of visual storytelling to explore different disciplines such as psychology, history, technology, and more. Meanwhile, Honkai: Star Rail managed to grab the award on account of eye-popping visuals, depth of content, as well as impressive game design.
For Best Multi-device App and Game, the awards went to Spotify and OUTERPLANE – Strategy Anime, while the User’s Choice App and Game awards went to ChatGPT and MONOPOLY GO.
