Foldable phones don’t come cheap because the foldable display tech is still relatively new, plus it isn’t being adopted on a large enough scale where the economies of scale can kick in to help bring down prices.

The handset was launched a while ago but Motorola has since announced that they are introducing a new color option – Peach Fuzz. This is actually the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year and it offers users a bright and more funky color option compared to the current options available to customers.
Apart from the new color finish, the insides of the phone and its features will remain identical as the previous launch. This includes the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 3,800mAh battery. It also features a larger external display to make it more functional, and will come with Android 13 preinstalled.
It also features a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 12MP and 13MP ultrawide and macro camera, and a 32MP front-facing shooter. The best part is that Motorola is actually offering customers a discount of $300, bringing the price down from $999.99 to $699.99, making this one of the cheapest foldable phones you can get in the market right now.
