The OnePlus 12 was launched nearly a year ago, so if you’re looking forward to the next OnePlus flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, the wait could be over in the coming months. This is according to a post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station who claims that the OnePlus 13 will launch in October or November this year.
The post also goes on to claim that the OnePlus 13 will be priced similarly to the OnePlus 12. The OnePlus 12 isn’t exactly cheap, but it’s good to see that the price won’t go up. It is also rumored that the handset could run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This gives it an advantage over 2024 flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
We already saw potential renders of the handset back in May. It shows a brand new camera module. It appears that OnePlus is ditching the circular cutout in favor of a square-ish camera cutout. Does this look better? That’s really preference at the end of the day. But admittedly the circular cutout did help the phone stand out a bit.
We’ve also heard that the OnePlus 13 could pack a massive battery. It could jump from a 5,400mAh battery in the OnePlus 12 to a whopping 6,000mAh battery. That’s quite a substantial upgrade which hopefully translates to longer use. Take this with a grain of salt, but check back with us in the coming months to see if the OnePlus 13 has launched!
