OnePlus is expected to announce their next flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, later this month. The handset is the successor to the OnePlus 12. Pre-orders for the OnePlus 13 are already live in China, but it seems that the company has already put the phones in the hands of some lucky users.
According to sightings, it seems that the OnePlus 13 was spotted at an eSports event over in China. The handset was seen during the Peacekeeper Elite 2024 event where several mobile gamers were spotted using the handset. While we cannot confirm if the phone in question is the OnePlus 13, it does seem to be similar to the leaks we’ve seen as well as the teaser image OnePlus shared on social media.
So far based on what we know, the OnePlus 13 is expected to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset in tow. This could make OnePlus the first company to use Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, beating out other companies like Samsung. Other rumored specs include a 120Hz LTPO display, a 6,000mAh battery, an IP68 rating, 50W wireless charging support, and also five different color options.
Either way, we should have the details soon enough, but don’t get excited just yet. The OnePlus 13 is probably going to be announced for China first. Global availability will most likely come in 2025.
