Nationwide announced Wednesday that their Android app is now available for those who use them for insurance. The app is fully featured allowing you to file an insurance claim and get the process going from the palm of your hand – quite the handy tool if you’re in a nasty wreck on the side of the road with nothing but your cell phone.
“The Nationwide Mobile App for iPhone and iPod touch has been really successful and generated a lot of buzz,” said Dennis Giglio, associate vice president of Digital Marketing for Nationwide. “We wanted to build on this success by expanding the reach of our mobile capabilities to a wider range of customers by adding an Android app and improving our mobile website.”
Go ahead and scan that QR code below if you’re with Nationwide. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to keep this one in your app tray for those unexpected situations.
What the FUCK???
This clearly is a paid-article.
This clearly was a paid-article.
We the readers want unbaised articles, please!!!
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Then explain to us why you would write about a car insurance app?
None of us care about an car insurance app, and you clearly know that. You had to have been paid to write about this app.
We want reviews about important apps and about very good games, not a paid-article.
Plus, since this article has so many lines talking about the iPhone, I think Nationwide wrote this article for you and then had you publish it on your website.

Sorry, I accidently clicked sumbit twice, and when I said the stuff about the iPhone, I was accidently thinking about a new article from androidandme, which is also a paid-article.
This will come in handy. I always worry about what I would need to fill out or how to report an accident.
Thanks,
Jim
Great, now they can use the GPS to figure out you speed and raise your rates.
@Joe we took the quote from a publicly-available press release. I wrote this text myself. I thought it was newsworthy. Nothing more, nothing less. Not to be an ass, but move on and don’t read it if it bothers you.
Next Week:
“Dear Sir or Madam. We regret to inform you we cannot pay your insurance claim in the amount of $48,250 for damages to your vehicile in the accident that occurred 3 days ago. Our decision is based on GPS Data from your phone which indicates you were travelling in excess of 56mph in a 55mph zone. Thank you.”
I’m a Nationwide customer and wouldn’t have heard of it were it not for the article. I agree with the OP, if it is not of interest to you, move on.
