A lot of leftovers from the weekend. We couldn’t get to them all on this extremely busy day, but we’re bringing most of what we caught in our feed right your monitor. Take a look at the things you missed:
- AppBrain’s FastWeb Installer application is back on the Android market. Turns out it wasn’t Google boxing out the competition after all.
- TELUS is finally set to get the HTC Desire HD as accessories are starting to arrive.
- Samsung Germany officially announced plans to sell the Galaxy Mini in that region.
- What’s this mystery LG phone from Sprint? A deformed LG Optimus S or just a random placeholder for a presentation? You decide.
- Honeycomb can be installed to your NOOKcolor’s SD card. Proceed at your own risk.
- Sprint’s Galaxy Tab has gotten a minor software upgrade. Not much to make noise about here, but check Sprint out for more info.
- Sidearm Sports – makers of college sports apps on iOS – have permanently moved to Android. Check their first app for Syracuse out.
- One security firm has reason to believe the new web-based market could be a point of attack for malware spreaders.
- The LG Optimus S on Sprint also got a maintenance upgrade. Just as with the Galaxy Tab, this is minor fluff that you won’t care much for.
- Notion Ink Fans posted an in-depth review of the Adam tablet. Be sure to check the videos out here.
- eLocity’s A10 tablet will soon be available for pre-order: February 15th is the date to mark if you want it.
- Google shows you how to make the most of priority inbox on your mobile phone.
- Get the Motorola CLIQ 2 from T-Mobile free with a two-year contract until Feb. 9.
- You now have to pay for Last.FM on Android. $3 per month will get you ad-free streaming music.
- A new Froyo leak for you US Cellular Galaxy S users is out. The build is EA11 and is pre-rooted after you Odin. Get on it.
- Need more pictures of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo? There’s a nice-looking gallery right here.
- Mobilicity has slashed the prices on some of their Android phones. Check it out here.
- Dungeon Defenders First Wave update is now live. The $4.99 update can be had in the Android market.
Yeah, I just got that email from Last.FM. Looks like it’s time to see what all the Pandora buzz is about.
@JaylanPHNX Pandora is the shit!!!
Well, there’s the last nail in the coffin. Bye bye Last.Fm, time to switch back to Pandora.
What a bunch of sniveling cheap bastards. If you’ve been with a product that you love and been using for free then support it. I hope Pandora starts charging then what are you going to do…welfare mentality-get free stuff and then bitch about it.
Still no news on a Froyo update for the Samsung Captivate from AT&T! Pisser!
It didn’t cost me anything to update it
I wonder if that tablet update will fix the issue I have that whenever I try to transfer large files to the tablet over USB, the transfer always hangs about halfway through…it sucks. I have to actually unplug the tablet and replug it back in to get USB on it working again to finish the transfer. Even happens with small files if I have a lot of them (like a bunch of music for example), hangs while transferring.

@bonz – Radio has been free for nearly 100 years. Why shouldn’t we also expect music to be free when streamed? I happen to pay for a Pandora subscription, but I am a firm believer that there should be free streaming radio options out there.
