Been hankering to find out just what Samsung and Boost Mobile have in store for us tonight? Lucky for us, the Samsung Galaxy Prevail has been exposed on Boost’s site ahead of the launch event taking place in NYC. Unless the two companies have something else up their sleeve, it looks like this Android 2.2 handset with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 2MP camera, and CDMA radio is about all we are getting for a pricing of $179.99. We expected as much, really. We are sure plenty more will be made known about this handset come later this evening.

Not bad as long as it has hardware that is nothing like the transform or intercept, which it probably does. Here’s to hoping the performance is as good or better than the optimus V.
