PewPew earned a special place in our hearts when we played it. It was fun, looked and sounded great, and provided a real challenge for anyone who dared step forward. And it was an awful lot like Geometry Wars, the first of which I still play quite frequently.
Then the sequel came out (fairly quickly, might I add) and we fell in love all over again. If you haven’t already spent $3 to download PewPew 2 from the Android market then get over to Amazon and grab it for no more than the cost of air. (Free, if you aren’t keeping up.)
I really liked the first game, but it kept locking up my phone and I had to pull the battery once (Nexus S). Hope the 2nd game fixes that.
It locked up my Nexus S as well, but it was very rare. I absolutely love this game. Amazon’s free app of the day is the best thing ever.

dido – amazon free apps is a hugely great idea to get people to there site. go amazon.
Darth: We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master.
Obi-wan: Only a master of planar geometry, Darth.
By far my favorite game. Get this while you can!
I have to admit that I have been loving the Amazon App Store. They have been choosing some pretty good apps to give away. Sadly though, I will NEVER pay for an app through their store while they have this draconian phone home DRM. Love you Amazon, but you can’t have my money.
