Its been almost 3 months since we’ve heard anything from Verizon’s “Droid Landing” Twitter page. If you thought we’ve seen the last of the landings you were mistaken. After a season of hibernation, it looks as if the Twitter page has come alive once again.
The way this works is Verizon sends out Tweets to followers of @DroidLanding and basically sends everyone into a bit of scavenger hunting frenzy, looking all over participating cities for hidden Droid phones. The clues are cryptic at first and become more obvious as the day progresses.
The last time we saw the landings of the Droid X and Droid 2 smartphones from Verizon. This time is anybody’s guess (Charge? Incredible 2? Bionic?).
If this sounds like your cup of tea and don’t mind working a little bit for a free Droid phone, be sure to follow @DroidLanding on Twitter and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to have a sighting in your area.

My guess would be DInc 2
agreed
DSC = Droid Samsung Charge.
Oh yeah. Duh on me!
No because its would be SDC not DCS.
Oooooo me likey these Droid landings. :)
Bionic Chris? You really should check out this site that posted some news about the Bionic, Phandroid.com, that reported it being delayed.
damn guys, give him a break already. yeah he’s sorta a goofy dude but he’s clearly friendly, and genuinely psyched about Android.
it’s kinda annoying to see that kind of mistake, I get it, but that wasn’t even remotely the point of the article. You could have pointed out the correction without being as ass about it.
ease up already – we’re all jealous so be a man about it and be happy for him.
(that wasn’t so much directed at you lespaul20, just all the mopey cynics)
I know the Bionic was delayed until the summer but is it THAT far fetched that Motorola would actually give some lucky people the phone early?
Goodness.. I barely mentioned it. Just throwing out some options. Geeeeeeeez……….

Wow. You posted the same exact link in the updated article about Verizon’s LTE rollout. Congratulations. You know how to link to almost completely irrelevant material. Talk about an old dog not being able to learn new tricks…
Paulmphoto talks about Droid, Boston, and Twitter. The review you linked to mentions absolutely none of those. Stop posting meaningless crap that has nothing to do with the article/comment. And the only reason I’m not commenting on spoon’s comments are because he isn’t the one initially posting this meaningless crap. As usual, you are.
Yet again, I am forced to say that maybe you should just stick to material you somewhat know/actually pertains to you. You’re a Sprint fanatic, this has absolutely no impact on you. Read the article if you must and move on. Don’t comment on it. But of course, you don’t even know Sprint. You were the one that stated Sprint’s voice and data run on the same network. They don’t. It’s AT&T’s network that does that.
Bravo Bravo!!!
Your useless in my book, you always seem to know everything about what sprint isn’t WOW you think your so knowledgable I can’t help but laugh at all your responses. Now you claim to be in the know of sprint

Well then, you’re useless in my book too. Posting a link to a phone vs. phone review when the original comment and article have nothing to do with either phone? That’s utterly and completely useless. I don’t claim to know everything about Sprint. For instance, I didn’t know that they haven’t expanded their 4G network since Dec 28. Or at least, they haven’t put out any press releases about it since then. Look under the news section of their own website if you don’t believe me. I didn’t know that until I looked it up. It’s completely public knowledge. And in order to figure out that Sprint’s voice and data networks are indeed not the same network, all you have to to is google it. It doesn’t take someone “in the know of sprint” to do that. All it takes is someone who genuinely wants to learn. Something you obviously don’t care about.
Squidy ftw.
Yeah I don’t hate Sprint or anything. Just hate gayrell here tolling anything Verizon.
Hopefully they have a Droid for me in Boston! I am new to twitter do I just have to follow or do I have to tweet or something?
The second coming of the Dinc anyone? Another version of the bolt is what this basically is. But I loved the original Dinc so this should be nice
you guys should know this twitter account is a MOTOROLA ACCOUNT! so no way in hell they would give away a Charge or DINC2. probably get a Droid 2 or maybe the Droid X2
