This is not that funny, IMO. That button imports your friends from Facebook and Twitter into your phone book.
That’s the joke. The name is completely opposite from the functionality it provides. And “get friends” is hilarious in and of itself. Meh, not a joke for everyone I guess.

I guess. I never found it particularly humorous, having had a Vibrant since it came out. I guess it is funny, but it does indicate that you’re adding friends to your phonebook. “Get friends” into your contact list.

The import/export button is for importing or exporting your contacts from/to your SIM or SD card.
Yes I am aware of that. IMO import/export options should all be housed under the same button. If you want to import friends from somewhere most people would look for import/ export not “get friends”
I like the joke articles on this site….not everthing has to be so serious all the time. Between everyone fighting about pointless stuff its nice to jump on one of these articles to just joke around and have a little fun in the day. Not everyone thinks every movie is funny. If you dont like it move on.
Sources tell me LG will counter that feature with “Get Life”.
