The first of many breakthroughs on Motorola devices, we hope – CyanogenMod 7 is now making its way to the Motorola DROID 2. This comes several days after a breakthrough achieved on the DROID X that allowed CyanogenMod 7 to boot and run. And run well, at that. Developer cvpcs says they’ll eventually be merging the DROID 2 into the main CM branch, which will bring the delicious nightlies we all crave. (Don’t worry, we’ll alert you when that goes down.) I really wish it would come to Droid 2 Global. :( I miss my OG Droid.
does this also mean theres hope for the milestone 2? or is the hardware different?
I wish they’d make it stable for the Fascinate already! They’ve only been working on it for 6 months now. I’ve flashed at least a half dozen roms onto my Fascinate and to tell you the truth, I would rank CM7 down near the bottom. (at least from the experience I’ve noticed on other models) This thing is way over hyped imo.
