LG’s announced a new device for those who simply can’t go without a hardware QWERTY keyboard. It’s the LG Optimus Q2, a dual-core followup to the device launched early last year. This one gets a bump in screen size for 3.5 inches to 4 inches.
As I alluded to before, it also goes from having a single-core processor to a 1.2GHz dual core processor. It will also have a 5 megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front camera. Unfortunately, unless you’re living in Korea or are willing to import it, you won’t be able to get your hands on this one just yet (but if you do fit that bill, keep an eye out for it next week).
Well, at least 1 manufacturer cares about people who like keyboards! I wonder how much RAM this has.

Why? You’re the one that says its not high end, it may only have 512mb. Wouldnt be surprised if they were trying to make it cheap
Yeah since it’s “low end” it’s not expected to have any RAM.
Why do you hope I’m joking? The reason I need to replace my Motorola Milestone is because it becomes starved from RAM once you update it past Android 2.1.
It’s so hard to find a nice phone with a physical keyboard these days that I’d be happy if the next one I bought had nice enough specs that I could manually upgrade the OS without worrying about how little RAM will be left for applications once the OS gets into memory.
Hopefully you just pulled the low end stuff out of your ass. It really breaks my heart how all these manufacturers want to try to force people to use inefficient and inaccurate touch screen keyboards.
And, before anyone tries to tell me that touch screen keyboards are accurate, disable auto-correct or use an app where the developer provided an incorrect keyboard hint and then come talk to me.

this phone has a 4 inch screen, and has 4 rows of keys. My 3.2 inch phone has 5 rows of keys. I don’t see your point.
