The HTC EVO Design 4G for Sprint has popped in an official press shot for the device. The EVO Design was formerly known as the HTC Kingdom and will also be headed to US Cellular under the Hero S title. The device will feature a modest 1.2GHz single-core Snapdragon, 768MB of RAM, 4-inch qHD display, 5MP rear/1.3MP front facing cameras and running on Android 2.3.3. Given the fact HTC has cut back on many of the higher-end specs we’ve come to expect on devices like the EVO 3D, I would imagine this device will be priced right a lot less. This will make the EVO Design 4G stand out for Sprint shoppers on budget. Still no word on release date but with a leaked press shot — we don’t imagine it could be too far now.

So its a slightly faster Incredible S/2.
For a second there, I thought I was looking at the Incredible…
Crap pure crap !!
your post? …I agree.
so, anyways, If I were looking for mid-range phone… this would be it without a doubt. In fact, its more like “upper-mid-range.” I like it!!
Yeah, seems to have the design of the EVO 3D which I LOVE :D
+1
Not bad for a midrange device.
You can get the 3D for high end
and choose between a keyboard Shift or a touchscreen Kingdom
Really cool looking. I already have the EVO 3D.
The idea that this is placed in the class of mid-ranged android phones astonishes me.
It has better everything that my Samsung Captivate and the Galaxy S was the top of the pile as you got back when it released and when I bought it.
So is my current phone considered the low end now >_>
This will be my “upgrade” from the original EVO. My sweet spot is 4″ screen. Plus, I have not run into one app (that I use) that needs a dualcore processor. And if it does, I would much rather use that app (games) on a tablet. Any word on camera for this? Going to simply go with 1 of the EVO3d cameras?
Does it get Sense 3.5?
